Basic Life Support (BLS) Online Blended
Service Description
Consistent with the 2015 AHA Guidelines for CPR/ECC, BLS is the foundational CPR/AED program typically required for healthcare providers and public safety professionals.Through the use of lecture, skills demonstration, practice and case-based emergency response scenarios with a focus on team-based response, BLS builds the key critical thinking, problem solving, and team dynamic skills that are needed to drive better patient outcomes.Upon successful completion of the course, learners will receive a 2-year Basic Life Support digital certificate with anytime, anywhere access to certificate and training history. There are TWO parts to the American Red Cross Basic Life Support Blended Online course: Part 1 (online blended link provided after registration via email) at your home or office: Online simulation and learning experience (0.5 to 2.5 hours) Part 2 (Skills Session) at one of our regularly scheduled in-person skills sessions: Manikin practice and skills testing (45 - 60 minutes max). Additional Info: This is an American Red Cross course You will receive your Basic Life Support (BLS) certification card via email using the ARC eCard system within 48 hours of your course Your BLS card will be identical to the classroom-based BLS card
